Buchu Oil is steam distilled from the leaves of this medicinal plant originating from the Cape province in South Africa and possesses anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and  anti-bacterial properties. Buchu is often used in natural skin care products to strengthen the benefits of these products. It is also used as an insect repellent, a deodorant and for skin infections.
